For Jimmy and Kim's engagement party, simple and clean was the look.
Nothing beats classic Burlap. We used it as table runners as well for the centerpieces! If you;re planning on using a lot of it, I highly suggest going to downtown Los Angeles, and heading to the fabric district. You will find everything you need and more! (Michael Levine is my FAVORITE.)

A different kind of Bouquet
My friend Ashley was in her cousins wedding this past weekend. As I was wondering through all the pics, (scanning for ideas:) I came across this fun idea for bridesmaids!!
Great as well for cutting the cost of your flowers, and Totally reuse able! Simply go to your local garden shop, or craft store and pick up some vintage vases, then use a thick wire to add a handle, add a BIG single flower and your done!

Rehearsal Dinner
For Emma & Andrew, the rehearsal dinner was important due to all their out of town family coming in for both their Graduation, and their Wedding.... I suggested Charlies in Malibu. This modern, and YUMMY restaurant has a great ambiance, and was the perfect setting for them. There is an upstairs banquette room that is perfect for a party of 30 or less. Food included Sliders, Caesar salad, and a carbonara pasta that was soo good....Thanks to Wally and Luke from Charlies for all your help!

My New Favorite Spring Wedding Flower!!

I just returned from a trip to New York City to visit my best friend. I had no idea I was in for such a treat! The weather was great! The people were fantastic, and the sightseeing was in-depth!! I have to say one of the best memories was getting to witness Manhattan in full Spring Bloom! I have always had a soft spot for tulips, but never have I seen such an amazing display as these!! The city was just covered with them, and it was wonderful. So for those of you who are deciding on flowers for your Spring Wedding, I highly suggest incorporating Tulips in any way you can.
