Place Card Holder

For Emma's upcoming wedding to Andrew, I wanted to do something special and classic for their place cards. She wanted to incorporate the Wish Card Tree to the wedding as well, so we came up with a great idea, inspired by my dear friend Laura Harkin from her 4th of July Wedding to U.S. Marine First Lieutenant Kyle Harkin. It was pretty simple, I used two frames, wrapped cardboard with some quilting batting and fabric, (to match Emma's colors,) then used Ivory ribbon to act as the place card holders. I love this look as a classic modern touch. Make sure when you place the cards on the board you use the "Small" glue dots to secure them.

Weddings, Weddings, and more Weddings!

Being busy has been fantastic! This is my favorite time of year when the fun stuff starts! Sat down with Emma and handed her her finished Wedding Invitations. She loved them!  She had chosen one of my designs in an Ivory Shimmer, and Deep Purples. So Excited for the one-month count down!

My New Favorite Spring Wedding Flower!!

I just returned from a trip to New York City to visit my best friend. I had no idea I was in for such a treat! The weather was great! The people were fantastic, and the sightseeing was in-depth!! I have to say one of the best memories was getting to witness Manhattan in full Spring Bloom! I have always had a soft spot for tulips, but never have I seen such an amazing display as these!! The city was just covered with them, and it was wonderful. So for those of you who are deciding on flowers for your Spring Wedding, I highly suggest incorporating Tulips in any way you can.
